Staff and pupils are rightly proud of their school.
You all work so hard and I love that I am able to volunteer and that my child attends such a wonderful school.
Pupils are supported to strive for excellence in everything that they do. They actively pursue the school’s values to be confident, resilient, ambitious, creative, considerate and healthy.
Every single student who came up was so polite and well mannered, greeting us with a cheerful hello, a please, and a thank you.
Pupils reach and exceed these expectations consistently. There is no ceiling on pupils’ learning.
...a real reminder of what a special community this school is.

A huge congratulations to our Head Girl, Holly, who is representing England at the Dance World Cup. This is a fantastic achievement and one that has come through years of hard work, determination and dedication. We are incredibly proud to see Holly competing on the world stage and know she will represent both her team and dance school with pride. We wish Holly and her teammates every success in the competition. Well done, Holly – what an amazing achievement. You are a wonderful role model for our school community!
Today's book swap and story picnic reminded us how powerful reading can be it brings people together, sparks imagination and builds confidence. Seeing our pupils and families enjoying stories out in the sunshine was truly uplifting. Thank you to everyone who joined in and helped nurture a community of enthusiastic readers. #readingforpleasure #learningcaringsucceeding #learningjoy
Looking forward to our reading picnic on Friday where the whole school will enjoy a story or two together on the field. We will also be holding our annual book swap. If your child has any books in good condition that they'd like to donate, please bring them to school before Wednesday. Every child will receive a different book to take home. A reminder that there are no hot meals on Friday but school picnics can be ordered on Arbor. #learningcaringsucceeding #promotingaloveofreading

Our Year 6 pupils had a magical time at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour this week! Exploring the world of Harry Potter brought their current writing topic to life sparking imagination, deepening descriptive language, and inspiring some truly spellbinding ideas back in the classroom. A brilliant way to blend learning with unforgettable experiences! #learningcaringsucceeding #WritingThroughExperience #Year6Magic

What a busy and exciting term it's been! One of our highlights was coming together as a whole school to celebrate Sir David Attenborough's 100th birthday. Did you know one of our classes is named after him? A true national treasure, Sir David inspired us to think of 100 reasons why we love our planet, which we captured in photos. We shared a lovely picnic (and enjoyed fish and chips on the field!), played together from Nursery to Year 6, and celebrated the importance of relationships across our school community. To top it all off, we enjoyed cake and sang 'Happy Birthday' not only to Sir David, but also to Miss Cunningham, Elisha, Ethan and Olivia, who share his special day. A joyful day full of togetherness, learning and celebration #SchoolCommunity #learningcaringsucceeding
We're getting ready for something special! Tomorrow, we're bringing our whole school together - from Nursery to Year 6 - for a picnic to celebrate the 100th birthday of Sir David Attenborough. The bunting is up and the excitement is building! It's a lovely chance for us all to come together, enjoy the outdoors and reflect on the incredible impact Sir David has had in helping us understand and care for our world. A big thank you to our EYFS team, who have set up some fun activities for children across the school to share - we can't wait to see everyone learning and playing together. Looking forward to a special day celebrating our planet and each other. #LearningCaringSucceedingTogether #DavidAttenborough100
Ukulele Stars in Curie Class! Pupils have been rocking their ukuleles while playing along to some wellknown tracks, including Waka Waka, Where Is the Love? and Can You Feel It. The children have shown great focus, teamwork and enthusiasm as they listened carefully, kept the beat and played together as an ensemble. Learning a musical instrument is a vital part of our music curriculum. It helps children develop coordination, listening skills, perseverance and confidence, while also supporting wider learning such as memory, concentration and wellbeing. Playing together teaches them the importance of practice, collaboration and responding to others – skills that reach far beyond music lessons. We love the joy they're bringing to their music-making! #learningcaringsucceeding #UkuleleFun

We look, we notice, we care. This week, nursery had so much fun handling hoppers, worms and crickets as we explored how to be gentle, respectful minibeast helpers. #eyfshandsonlearning #learningcaringsucceeding

Earps Class enjoyed an exciting hands-on science experiment today as they recreated the human digestive system. The children 'ate' food using their teeth to chew and break it down, then followed its journey down the oesophagus, into the stomach, through the intestines and finally to its last stop! Along the way, each stage of the process was discussed and explored, prompting lots of curiosity. Some fantastic questions were askedand answeredshowing great enthusiasm and understanding. A brilliant day of practical learning! #learningcaringsucceeding #handsonscience
