Year 6 Battle of Hastings visit
This week, Year 6 visited Battle Abbey to consolidate their learning on the Battle of Hastings. The children enjoyed walking around the battlefields and were given a tour around the school and its grounds. Children climbed the stairs of the gatehouse to look over the abbey and visited the interactive centre.
The children had a great day and will use their knowledge to help towards their 1066 re-enactment on Friday 11th October.
