Year 2 Christmas Cricket

This week, children from Year 2, spent the morning at a christmas themed cricket event ran by Sussex Cricket. The children took part in a carousel of different cricket activites to learn different skills such as batting, bowling, throwing and retrieving the ball. The children were also luckily to meet the Sussex cricket mascot ‘Sharky’.

 The children had a wonderful morning.

Harvey said, “ I love cricket, I have had so much fun.”

Jessica said, “ I have never done cricket before – it’s really fun. I would like to play some more cricket again.”

At the end of the event, Sussex Cricket awarded Little Common with a cricket bat signed by the Sussex Cricket team.
