Transition Sports' Festival

This week, we were delighted to invite children, who will be starting in the Foundation stage in September, to our Transition Sports' Festival.

The children attended the festival with their parents (who enjoyed tea and cake whilst they waited) as the children took part in different sport activities with their new class teachers.

It was a great opportunity for our new starters to become more familiar with our school setting whilst playing lots of exciting and active games. The nursery children were joined by our Foundation class sports leaders who were very confident at demonstrating each activity as well as showing how kind and considerate they were as they supported our nursery visitors. 

It was a wonderful afternoon and we are looking forward to welcoming the children to school in September.
