Sports Days

We were so lucky with our Sports Day weather and is was great to see so many of you there. Throughout the week, our pupils have shown so many of our school values. Naturally they have shown themselves to be healthy and fit, but they have shown confidence and ambition. The hardest of all our values for most children is resilience.

We all come across competitions in life and we are trying to teach our pupils to do their very best and learn from defeat. It is such a hard lesson and I'd like to thank you all for your support in backing the very difficult decisions that the staff have to make at the finish line. Every child wants to win and, as I said at each Sports Day, we do our very best to get judgements right and teach children not to challenge an umpire. Thank you for respecting our decisions.
