D-Day Anniversary

On Thursday, Key Stage 2 had a  special assembly to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of D-Day.  Our thanks go to members of the local Royal British Legion including their chairman, John  Jennings, who led our assembly and the minute silence.  We also welcomed Bexhill's new mayor Kathy Harmer and deputy Lynn Langlands as well as Councillor Errington who joined Key Stage 2.

As always the children showed their knowledge and understanding as well as demonstrating great respect.  Well done to Ruby and Herbie who read aloud poetry as part of the assembly.
