Little Common School Nursery

Little Common School is delighted to announce the opening of a new nursery provision from September 2025, subject to completion of an exciting refurbishment programme, installation of a new outdoor learning environment and recruitment of qualified staff. 

The age range for children will be 2 to 4 years.

Our daily provision will be led by a qualified teacher with a supporting team of qualified nursery practitioners.  The nursery will be part of the existing successful school, providing access to additional facilities and the leadership capacity of  Assistant Head Mrs Zoe Patch-Hart, Assistant Head for SEND Miss Sabrina Simons and Mrs Moor, Headteacher for Little Common School.

Further details 

Lunch of a hot meal cooked by the school catering team or a prepared picnic lunch can be purchased for £1.  Meals can be chosen and booked by parents through our Arbor system and are the same meals as the rest of the school.

Nappies, wipes, snacks and sun cream are to be provided by the parent.  Snacks can be purchased on a regular basis for 50 pence per session which will be billed separately.

If wipes or sun cream have not been provided by the parent a charge of 50p will be billed for each application/use.

Funded EYEE sessions of 15 hours will be delivered over 38 weeks.

Funded EYEE sessions of 30 hours will be delivered over 46 weeks which will be 24 hours per week.

We plan to close for the school Christmas holiday, October & February half term and one week at the end of the summer holiday.

Attendance at the nursery does not guarantee a school place in reception at Little Common School.  Applications for school places are made through the local authority in the usual way.
