Meet the team...
Hello Hub Members,
Welcome back! We hope you had a good summer. This is an interim newsletter to keep in touch with you all.
Hopefully you have settled into the term and are enjoying your new classes.
We welcome Hastings area to our Hub and their Hub Lead Abbi from Sandown School. They have merged with us, which is a great opportunity for us to share training and support. Remember that if you work in one hub area but live in another and that hub is easier for you to access then please feel free to attend training at that hub location.
Welcome back Georgia Dowling after maternity leave to the Central Rother EYEH as our pre-school lead.
WE NEED YOU!
We need your input to help us plan our training and support sessions for this academic year. If you feel that your setting would like support with an area, then please get in touch with your hub leader ASAP and they will take it to the planning session and will see if we can help and support you.
Also, if you know that there has been a change in staffing this year and you know that a practitioner isn’t on our mailing list please pass on their details.
Summary of most recent training:
Project Rewild was a great success and those that attended loved meeting up with other settings after such a long period. Some schools have reported implementation of Forest school within their new curriculum. As this training was so successful we will be offering to Hastings and Battle Hubs this coming year so look out for further details.
What’s coming up:
4th October 4-6pm - Squiggle while you Wiggle Zoom training
7th October @ 4pm– Build your Brain Launch webinar to introduce the child and parent facing resources. Here is a link to sign up to the webinar, it will be recorded and the recording shared afterwards if you can't make it on the day
A full list of training dates will be available at the end of this term once Hub Leads have finalised plans.
Thank you to all the settings that participated in the Colour Monster Transition Project- we have had some very positive feedback!
