Little Common School is an outstanding primary on the outskirts of Bexhill.  Our large, well-resourced school is friendly, supportive, and full of children who love to learn.  We have an experienced staff team who enjoy sharing skills and providing an excellent education for pupils.

We are looking for a resilient, enthusiastic and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of effective teaching methods and will be able to successfully lead learning activities for a group or class of children.  They will be reliable and a team player who is able to be flexible, caring and dedicated to their role, being able to remain positive under challenging circumstances. 

There is an expectation that the successful applicant will hold a Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).  If you do not have this already, we will provide support and training for you to achieve this.

The role includes being a First Aider and training will be provided.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm term time only with a 5.00pm finish each Wednesday, therefore the salary is pro rata.
