Fixed term post, term time only, 30 hours per week.

Salary APRR LC2 01 £6760 pro rata

Little Common School is a large 3 form entry primary school based in the beautiful area of Little Common on the outskirts of Bexhill on Sea.
We are seeking to recruit 2 enthusiastic Apprentice Teaching Assistants (TA3) on a fixed term basis until December 2018.
We can offer you a happy and professional working environment, which is well resourced and where children are keen to learn. We have a supportive leadership team who will provide guidance and encouragement along with in house CPD opportunities.
You ideally you need grade C or higher in English, Maths and ICT (without this you will need to undertake Functional Skills in all three subjects in addition to the apprentice course) and have experience of working in a school environment (including through placements during education) and hold a Level 2 qualification in supporting teaching and learning in schools (or similar).

The salary offered is subject to holding the qualifications required (maths, English and ICT grade C or above).
The start date for this position will be Monday 4th September 2017 (subject to reference and pre-employment checks).
The position is term time only and therefore the apprenticeship is for a fixed term period and expected to finish on the 5th of December 2018.
An enhanced DBS clearance is required for this role.
The school will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2009 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision. Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment check process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2009 Regulations.
